Professor Decheng Wan is elected to be a member of the international ITTC Advisory Committee.

      On the 18-22 day of September 2017, the twenty-eighth International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC) was held in Wuxi. More than 230 Chinese and foreign scholars from more than 100 shipping research institutes and universities from more than 30 countries participated in this conference. They listened to the Research Report of the twenty-eighth ITTC technical committees, deeply exchanged the latest research progress on marine and Marine Engineering Hydrodynamics physics experiments.

     As a member of the twenty-eighth ITTC energy conservation unit and method Committee, Professor Decheng Wan reported to other members on the progress made in energy saving devices and methods in the last three years.


       After the recommendation, the audit and the difference ballot election, Professor Decheng Wan was elected to the ITTC Advisory Committee (AC).


      As the most authoritative academic organization of international ship and ocean engineering, ITTC has held a conference every three years.The twenty-ninth ITTC conference will be held in Nantes, France, in 2020.
