From June 22nd to June 24th, 2017, Professor Wan Decheng was invited by Professor Ronald Yeung, the director of the Ship Hydrodynamics Research Center of the University of California, Berkeley, to visit the University of California, Berkeley, for short-term lectures and talent recruitment.
During the visit, Professor Wan Decheng made an academic report “ Development of CFD Solvers for Ship and Ocean Engineering Flows”, introduced the independent development of marine and marine engineering solver based on overset overlapping grid technology and open source code platform in recent years, and the application of the solver to marine and marine engineering hydrodynamics.
In the course of the visit, Professor Wan Decheng specially organized the 2017 American San Francisco talent demand Conference for the Institute of ship construction.
